Health and social service professionals involved in chronic disease management through clinical and support services (e.g. hospitals, extra-mural, community health, public health, primary care, ambulatory care, mental health & addictions and non-government agencies). The public is welcome to attend.
To receive the negotiated rate, request a room in the REACH conference room block by April 30th, 2015. The room rate is $129 +HST (single or double). $20 extra for each additional person with the exception of children under 18 sharing room with parents. Max occupancy is 4/room.
REACH participants with a guest room at the Delta Beauséjour will receive a discounted 24-hour parking pass. This pass will be issued at check- in at a rate of $12.95 plus tax. Clients who do not have a guest room at the hotel will be paying the regular parking lot fees (maximum $18.00 per day). All prices are based on availability and are subject to change.
The morning of the 27th there will be two free physical activity opportunities to choose from. Participate in a relaxing yet awakening yoga class or wake up to a refreshing group jog outside on the beautiful trail behind the Delta. Being active in the morning will promote blood flow to the brain and muscles – creating the perfect environment for an energetic and productive day!
1. All levels Yoga Class. Time: 7am. Location: Ballroom C
Focused on bringing attention to body and breath, this free Vinyasa yoga class will guide you through a flowing series of postures. Suitable for all levels, the class will incorporate elements of strength, balance, release, and relaxation. If you have a yoga mat, please bring it to the class. We will have some mats available.
2. 5km group run or walk. Time: 6:30am. Location: Delta lobby
A free 5km group run will start from the delta lobby and run along the trail behind the hotel. Run at your own pace and enjoy some fresh air before the sessions begin. Bring warm clothing for the possibility of a cooler morning and appropriate running footwear.
